These terms and conditions apply when you provide prior express consent to receive text messages from IX Layer Inc. (including Labpass) or its affiliates or vendors in connection with the applicable lab testing program (the “Program”).  By providing your telephone number as part of the Program, you agree to receive text messages from us.  

Text messages may have information about your test and test results, including, without limitation, reminders, status updates and results notifications.   Message frequency may vary.

 

Your Mobile Phone Number

By agreeing to receive text messages, you agree that the mobile phone number is yours and that you have permission to use that mobile phone number.

You must let us know right away if:

  • You change your mobile phone number.
  • You no longer have permission to use the mobile phone number that you provided.

After signing up, you will receive a text message from (864) 668-6091 on your mobile number. 

 

Security

Text messages from us may include protected health information (PHI).  Text messages between you and us  will not be encrypted. This means that they will be unsecured and other people could read them. It is important that you keep your mobile phone protected. We encourage the use of technologies to protect your device from unauthorized use, including the use of passwords or other technologies. You understand that we are not responsible for the release of personal information once you agree to receive text messages.

 

Message Rates

This text program is a standard SMS/MMS program and message and data rates may apply.

 

Supported Carriers

The following major carriers are supported: AT&T, Sprint, Boost, Verizon Wireless, US Cellular®, T-Mobile USA®, Virgin Mobile.

 

Stop Text Messages

You can stop getting text messages from us at any time. You can do this by texting STOP to us at (864) 668-6091 , This is called opting-out. You may also contact us at info@ixlayer.com.

  • If you ask us to stop getting text messages, you could get one more text message to your mobile phone number. This is to tell you that we received your message. It will also have information about other ways you can get help.

Terms & Conditions

We may change these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted to your Program website. You agree to review those terms and conditions often to be sure you are aware of any changes.

The text program is offered on an “as is” basis and: (1) may not be available in all areas at all times; and (2) may not continue to work in the event of product, software, coverage or other service changes made by your wireless carrier. We may change or discontinue any of its text alert programs without notice or liability to you. Ixlayer and its related companies and each of their respective officers, directors and employees are not responsible and shall not be liable for any losses or injuries of any kind resulting, directly or indirectly, from any ixlayer text alert program or from technical failures or delays of any kind. We reserve the right to cease delivery of text alerts to any person at any time in its sole discretion.

If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, you must immediately opt-out as described above.
