What are the age restrictions for the tests?

You must be 18 or older to take any of the Labpass tests. You will not be able to register your test if you are under the age of 18.

Are there any limitations to where I can purchase a test?

Yes – tests cannot be purchased by individuals located in New York (NY), New Jersey (NJ), or Rhode Island (RI) due to state-specific restrictions. Tests may also not be purchased by individuals located in Puerto Rico, other U.S. territories or outside of the United States.

Do any of the tests have specific requirements to test (e.g. fasting)?

Each test comes with guidance to optimize your sample collection process for that specific test. You can see the details by test in the “How do I prepare for the test?” section of each test page.  Any limitations are also in this section by test (e.g. testosterone will only be processed by the lab for males assigned at birth).

Additionally, the instructions provided with each specific test provide these recommendations and tips.

What role does a physician play in the process?

A board-certified physician oversees the end to end testing process. This includes placing a lab order based upon the information provided during your activation process and independent clinical protocols (if appropriate for you).

You may receive a call from a clinician if results are critical. If you would like to speak to the clinical team at any point in time, reach out to us using the phone number or email for Patients on the Contact Us page. We will  connect you to the clinical team.

You may also choose to follow up with your independent physician for any additional clinical questions.

Do these tests diagnose medical conditions?

The tests and services are not intended to be a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Speak with your independent physician upon receipt of results to discuss the best next steps for your health.

For urgent health issues, please contact your independent physician directly or visit the nearest emergency room. Your safety and health are paramount, and these conditions require prompt evaluation by a medical professional.

What should I do if I am experiencing severe symptoms like chest pain or difficulty breathing?

If you are experiencing severe or acute symptoms such as chest pain, difficulty breathing, sudden weakness, or severe pain, it’s important to seek immediate medical attention.

The at-home lab tests offered on our website are designed for routine health monitoring and are not suitable for diagnosing or treating acute or emergency conditions.
